  • Power of Attorney - Indian embassy - Houston, TX

    Hi,

I am on L1-B visa with an expired I-94. My employer has filed an I-94 extension for me and I got RFE. I responded to it and the USCIS shows "RFE response review in progress". It appears to take atleast 5-6 weeks for me to know my approval status. In the mean time, I want to get a Power of Attorney form attested by the Indian Embassy in Houston, TX. I saw the website and it states that they need a valid visa for getting the attestation. Do i need to wait until I know the status to proceed with the POA? I am in FL and I can send my POA documents by mail to the Indian embassy, but just don't want to mess things up since my I-94 extension is not approved yet.

    please advise.....

    thanks
