EB2 NIW : best time to submit petition as PhD student

Hi,

I am a 4th year PhD student and will graduate in next spring 2019. I want to apply for EB2 NIW petition but concerned about OPT approval during petition pending.

Please share your experience or suggestions about the risk of OPT denial during petition pending.

I applied NIW before submission of my OPT application.
There is no issue at all. According to my lawyer,
this is a gray area. If you have concern about it,
you can confirm with your school's international student advisor.
