Hi,
I am married to a US citizen, I applied for family based green card and got done with my interview. However the USCIS officer said he cannot stamp my passport with green card coz he is still waiting for FBI clearance. He said once you are cleared we will mail you your green card at your home address.
My brother-in-law didnt receive his clearance for over a year now.
I was just wondering if any of you ever had any such exp? how long did it take, befor you were issued GC?
I am a Pakistani national, raised in U.A.E(Middle East) and also visited Saudi Arabia for pilgrimage. Bearing this info in mind, how long do you think it will take befor I finally get GC.
