Expiration date

I am I-140 holder. I got I-140 approved via a National Interest Waiver
(NIW) on my behalf 3 years ago. Now I am in China.

QUESTIONS:
Does I-140 have a expiration date?
Can my wife and I submit I-485 application separately? for example I will
go to the united state with H-1 VISA and file I-485 application FIRST and my family will join me one year later.
