Hello,
My husband is a resident in veterinary pathology in his final year of residency. Prior to residency, he had a PhD in Toxicology. He has 1 first author publication and 3 co-authors. He has presented his research work in about 6 or 7 conferences. He is also a member of couple of academic organizations in his field of interest. We want to self-apply for green card without the backing of an employer. Please advice as to which would be the appropriate category for us to do so, EB1 or EB2-NIW? (We are Indians)
Also, we live in Wisconsin; is it possible to file concurrently for both I-140 as well as I-485?
Thanks a lot!
