I140 and 7 year extension

Hi,

I am on H1 and will be completing 6 years in Feb 2006. My employer has applied for labor and I am eligible to get 1 year extensions. Someone has offered me a pre approved labor(Applied in Nov 2004 and the skills match exactly) and I was wondering whether I can work for him and apply for I140. Will I get future H1 extensions? Please advise.
