L1 A 7th year Perm is on Audit

Hello

My PERM was filed in Jan 2013. My company changed my visa status from H1 B to L1 A in December 2012 ( in my 6th year of H1- B ) , hence I got an extra year, means currently I'm on my 7th year with my L1 A . A week before I got an audit notification on my PERM application to which a response has been submitted.

What will happen to my visa status if my PERM is pending for more than 365 days . Would I be eligible to file for a 1 year extension .

Normally people file for L1 to H1 COS and file GC and do 1 year/3 year extensions of the H1. As far as I know 1 year extensions are allowed only on H1 not on L1. Have you physically stayed in US for 7 years? If not then the time spent outside can be captured back. Other than that you don't have much options. Talk to an experienced attorney to determine your option of extending the old H1.
