Can we approach DOL directly or someone else for PERM that is applied in 6th year

Hello All,

My PERM is filed in May 2013 and H-1 max out date is Jan 2014. I have only 1 month to recapture which could push date to Feb 2014. Current processing times are 5-8 months.

Please let me know if anyone has tried approaching DOL directly or any party like Congressman to expedite PERM processing ?
