My current employer sponsored me to get an H1B just rigth after I graduated with my Master's. The visa was approved and I started working with them righ away, but things are not going well. When I asked the attorney about when were I would be able to transfer to another job, he told me that "because of the type of H1B you have, you are not allowed to transfer jobs. If you want to do so, you need to get a new sponsor and start the whole process again". I never heard about different classes of H1b.... I need some help. Thank you.
