Am I eligible for EB2 category?

Hi,

My employer is going to file my Green Card process. I have a question with respect to my eligibility on EB2 Category.
I am from India and I have completed BSc Computer Science (Regular) and MCA (Distance Education, Bharathidasan University). No breaks in between BSC & MCA too. I have 10+ years of IT experience.

Am I eligible for EB2 filing?

Green card process with 15 years education

Hi All,

I am currently working in US on H1B and have future plans for applying for Green card. I have 15 years education in India and total 9 years of Experience which include 6.5 years in and 2.5 in US. My friends says if i have 15 years of education i am eligible for EB3 only and not for EB2. IS it true? If yes what are possible things i can do now so that when i start my green card process iam eligible for EB2.

Hi Satish,

I am not sure as I don't get complete details about this classification. But I provide as much as details I know.

1) Experience doesn't matter when the eligibility is concerned. (But, few in forums debate they are factors. I am not sure yet)
2) Important thing is that Job Description which matters as it is supposed to look for Masters degree candidate.
