    Below is my situation: Please help.. Many thanks in advance...

    a) My 6 years H1B (I797) expires in Jan 2015. My I 94 expires in May 2014. When I last visited India I didnt show my latest I797 (I am an idiot) and as my Visa was stamped till May 2013, the POE officer stamped the I94 till May 2014.

    What is considered as valid in this case? My stamped I94 or my I797?

    b) I Working as a FTE with an Employer A. Who filed my GC PERM in Dec 2013. Now my employer also filed for my H1B extension (Normal processing) till Jan 2016 in Feb 2014. should I ask them to convert it to Premium Processing? I have heard that there are more chances of audit / RFEs for Premium processing that's the reason I didnt ask them to file under Premium.

    Question: Is my understanding right? Will I get extension till Jan 2016? I know its a vague question as no body can predict this, but what's the probability?

    c) The job situation at my company is kind of uncertain right now, if the situation worsens, I might have to resign in the next 2 to 4 months. In that situation the chances of PERM & I 140 getting approved by then (June/July) are remote.

    If I have to change my Job lets say in June/July there are two possible chances:
    1) If I get extension til Jan 2016 then I think I will have sufficient time for my new employer to file my GC again and get my I 140 etc done.

    Is my understanding right? My extension from my 1st employer will still be valid right?

    2) If I dont get extension till Jan 2016 but get it only till Jan 2015 lets say, then what are my options? This is a very crucial situation, as I will be in soup.
