Can I qualify in EB2?

Hi,
I joined my firm in Dec 2002, before I got my Masters degree in Jan 2003. Prior to joining my firm, I had 6mos. experience in another firm, and research work (of 20 hrs/wk) at Rutgers for 1.5yrs. I got a promotion in Jul this year. So, I wonder if I can go on EB-2 category even though I didn't have my Masters in hand when I joined, but had it when I got my promotion.
Any response will be greatly appreciated.

I don't believe the EB categorization is solely based on your Educational qualifications, it also depends on your Job Responsibilities.

Ofcourse, if the lawyer is ok with the upgrade to EB2 category, there should be no reason to worry.
