Changing jobs within company while perm under audit review

My perm with my current employer is under audit review. I was considering internal mobility options within the same company when my perm went into audit.

Can i still consider moving to a different part of the company with a similar job profile while my perm is under audit? Is this something that can be worked out with help of my employer and their law firm? Please advise.
