My friend's PERM application was filed electronically. His PERM was approved and now his I-140 is being filed. His employer has asked him to sign a hardcopy of the PERM application to be sent with the PERM application.
His employer required him to sign in section L of the PERM application 9089 but would not let him see the information in sections J and K. Section L, for the alien's signature, states that the signature is to confirm the accuracy and truth of the info in sections J and K. How can he do that if the employer and attorney won't let him see the information?
There is nothing confidential about this information in these sections. What is the point of not letting him review it?
His employer's immigration person told him that he had to trust that his attorney and employer used the information that was gathered to prepare the form accurately.
