    Perm filing while on OPT

    Hi Everyone,
    I am currently on OPT extension, that will expire in Nov 2016. If law for 24 months Opt extension gets approved, i will get Opt till June 2016. My employer is willing to file my PERM without H1B, but a lawyer recommended me to file H1b first, as I might not have enough time to get my PERM approved within available OPT duration.
    Whats your thought on that?
