Has anyone gone to India under this condition PLEASE HELP

Hi,
My husband applied for his labor certification in march'2005 in the old labor process.My husband was in L1B visa when he came to USA and I can to usa in L2 visa. So we have L1B and L2 visa stampings. Now we are in H1 and H4 visa papers but no stamping in our passport and as i mentioned we have applied for our greencard. If we go to india for a vacation we have to get our visa stamping. Has any one gone to india in this situation and has got there visa stamped? Is it that when we go to india we might not get our stamping because we have applied for our greencard and stuff? Can anyone please help me. Its been 3 years since i have gone to india and i really want to go for a vacation but i am scared that i might not get my stamping. PLease help.

I donot think you have to worry about this. Your L1 approval is the fact that you are approved by INS. You are going to the consulate only for staping purpose.
