Start to end Perm Filing Timelines

Hi My company would start GC Process on Sept 2016 - from the beginning . And I have time till Feb 28 2018 for my H1. Typically what all timelines can be expected to file the Perm. Like can someone suggest/guess. I dont know what all process is involved - like Advertisement, approval etc. And then Filing of Perm. What should I be expecting in terms of process and timelines.
