  • Changing the attorney

    Hi,

My company started PERM process about 6 months ago for me and 2 other friends. All our applications got rejected (2 times each). Now, its already more than 180 days from the first job ad. So we have to start the process again from posting job ad etc., We definitely know it is our attorney's 'ignorance' that is causing this. We have already paid $1,000 each. And, we have decided to change the attorney.

    My questions are:

    1. Is there any legal way to get the money back from the attorney before hiring a good lawyer?

    2. Any recommendation for a lawyer with successful PERM approval record (especially how was the communication process, if the lawyer does not reside in the city where you live - our lawyer does not return phone calls, emails)?

Our company is based in Arkansas.

    TIA,
    Aji

You need to change your attorney. A lot of these clowns do not know what they are doing. Retain a good attorney who has extensive experience.
