8th year extn, need urgent legal advice

My labor was filed in nov 2003, Currently I am on 7th Year HIB extension. My wife is on H1b and she has exactly one year left to complete 6 years on H1b. When my employer will file for 8th year extension to my H1B, can they file for H4 for her based on my H1B to extend beyond her 6 year limit.
