Which is better to EB3 or EB2

I have done my MSc(Maths) and MTech(CS) and have 5 yrs of experience before joining the current company.

But looks like company position requires a EB3 candidate and lawyer is suggesting EB3. So I am kind of confused. Even though I am qualified for EB2, should I go for EB3? Would there be any chance to get rejected saying that I am over qualified for the position?
Should I request the company to file my LC for a position with EB2 requirement?

Would I get better PD if I file EB2 vs EB3?
Any suggestions?

I am also in a similar situation. Labor is certified under EB3. I am considering refiling under EB2. Please let me know if you know of the salary requirements for Eb2, B.Sc with 5 years experience.

I have MS in Physics but with 6 years IT experience, Will I be eligible for EB2?
