My green card is currently under process with approved labor under EB3 advertisement (through PERM). Neither lawyer nor Employer told me that EB2 or EB3 is decided based on ad given for labor. My I-140 is yet to be filed.
With priority date for I-145 moving very slowly for EB3, I am considering refilling under EB2.
My qualification: M. Sc in physics but my experience is in IT as Snr. Systems engineer of more than 6 years. My future employment will also be in IT.
Will I be able to justify for Green card that I will qualify for EB2, refilling of labor may be required, but am I qualified for EB2 and will I be able to justify that my job needs Masters in physics while my experience is in IT?
If I consider only B.Sc and 5 years experience, what is the salary requirements for EB2?
If anyone has knowledge or experience of similar nature please advice.
