EB2 Justification

Hello

I have MS in CS and over 5 years of experience.
My company is willing to file for GC and the attorney says he would need justification to file for EB2 category.

Can someone give me hint or point to resource as to how to proceed and what to mention to the attorney?

your attorney is asking for why the position needs to be EB2. DOL has for every specific type of job, minimum job requirements and hence if you job profile falls into it(ie EB3 type) the employer needs to justify why you need more minimum experience to qualify it for EB2. A Senior position could be given as reason for justification.

My manager agrees to file for EB2 but my lawyer asks justification... how do I convince him I need to apply for EB2?

try seeing a senior position from the DOL website for which your job might qualify and file accordingly.
