PERM 365 days rule - does it include PWD?

Hi all,

question please regarding the 365 days PERM rule:
To apply for 1 year H-1B extension (beyond the initial 6 years) - it is necessary to file PERM before 5th year on H1B is expired.

My understanding that these 365 days do not include time to be spent on Prevailing Wage Determination (PWD) and Recruiting stages.
In other words: PWD and Recruiting must be started at least 180 days before 5th year expiration of my H1B.

Correct?

To be eligible for the one-year H-1B extension, the PERM application must be filed with the DOL at least 365 days before your six-year maximum in H-1B status. The length of time spent on recruitment and the PWD is irrelevant.
