Employer Re-filling PERM - only 1 year pending

Hi All,

I am looking for some guidance here.

My case:-
My 6 years currently maxes out in June 2019 including recapture. My employer is refiling and starting the process from scratch. I just have 1 year from now. I have been asked to gather some recapture time by working outside of US.

Questions
- I have seen a couple of cases where H1B extension (additional 1 year) happened beyond 6 years, including couple of months of recapture time, before the first time PERM filing or PERM in process. Since I just have 1 year, does anyone know under which circumstances this could happen?

- Can my employer tag my perm application to another already ongoing recruitment process matching my role? If yes, does this mean that they can directly file my PERM based on the role for this already ongoing recruitment process?

Advertisement timing: 1 month
Prevailing wage: 3 months
PERM: 3-4 months
Total: appx 7-9 months
This is the current timeline for PERM, so you should get the approval in 9 months
