Hi.
I worked for Company A on L1 VISA My initial L1B petition was from July 05 2001 to July 04 2004, as it was going to expire Company A extended my L1B petition so i got new petition from July 05 2004 till Dec 31 2006. During this second phase Company B filed my H1B which petition dates are Dec 16 2004 to Aug 01 2007. I started working for Company B from Jan 2006. And now Company B is going to file my green card. My Questions are
1. As i heard that green has to be filed before 1 year of any one's VISA expiration? So now its July will there be any problem?
2. L1 year of stay in US will be counted or it will be reset to 3 years as I have H1B.
3. If years are not the issue then, can my employer file my green card labor process even if I have less than year to expire my H1B petition? (Do they have to even file H1B extension at the same time or they can do that as per normal process of 6 month before)
Really appreciate your help
JC
