GC - company takeover

Will greatly appreciate an answer to the below scenario
I am filing my perm application with Company ABC and starting the GC process.
I get my LCA approved and file I-140 too.
6 months after this my company ABC gets aquired by Company X.
What this means is that Company ABC no longer exists and I am now an employee of Company X. Company X does not want any change in the resource plan or structure.
What happens to my GC application or Labour Certification in this case? Is it void or can it continue as is?
Pls advise.
