Need clarification for LC filing

Hi Friends...

I need info/clarification for the below question,

Currently I'm on L1 and from Oct' 2006 onwards my status is getting changed to H1 and only if I go out of US then I need to go for stamping.

My question is, if I go ahead and file my 'LC' with the current status will it be valid even thou my status is chaged to H1???

Please clarify me...
