I have a few questions.
I'm signing up with a new company who has now offered to sponser me for a green card. I have the option of getting my own lawyer to do the immigration process if I like or using the company's lawyer.
My question is:
1) Are there different types of labour certification? I.e. for the company versus for an individual? I want to make sure that if I have to change jobs down the road, the labour certification can be transferred to another agency? Not sure how this works though?
2) I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question. But how long can one stay on a TN visa while going through the Labour Certification process without running into a problem? I work for several agencies at the moment and one of these will sponser, so I'm trying to figure out how long I can stay on the TN with all three of them before transferring to an H1 without getting into trouble.....
I appreciate any suggestions and advice!
