SCAM COMPANY BEWARE
This company is a fraud and a scam.
A person called Bob (real name is Ravi kota) is luring people who are looking a pre approved labor by promising
a labor but fooling them to join his company.
His modus operendi is like This.
He checks thru the immigration forums for people who have posted ads for pre approved labor.
He then sends them emails saying that he has got a labor and gives them details of the labor but says that he can give
labor only if they can join him on h1b first and the contract with client must be transfered to his company.
He says that his company (tech staffing inc) was established in 1999 and that he has 80 employees.
When we lookup the website www.techstaffinginc.com we see that there is one contact person with name Bob and only one telephone number.
When we call that number it goes to a sprint cell phone voice mail.
When i enquired about the website of his company then i came to know that the website was created in August 2006 and that too on free hosting server.
I enquired about his company and the company is registered in California and that too the address to which it is registered is
a residential aparment unit. The name under whom it is registered is Mr. Ravi Kota and he claims to be from madras.
The address under which it is registered is
I asked him to fax the labor approval copy and he sent me partial copy of the same and it shows that i was filed in 2002 june and it got approved in
2002 september i.e., within 3 months. He says that it was never used to file I140 till date.
When i asked him to mail the original copy to my attorney then he said that he cant send it out and when i asked him why he said that his
company had 80 employees and that it was established in 1999 then he stopped talking to me saying that i am doubting everything when he is doing so
much for me.
PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS KIND OF SCAM COMPANIES AND SCAM PEOPLE.
Edit : today the website www.techstaffinginc.com is shutdown and i believe this person has shutdown the website after i posted this Ad.
I spoke to an Attorney and he has given me a few tips about how to find out if the company or the labor is genuine.
#### 1) check when the website was created - If it was created recently or if the date on which it was created doesnt not match at least nearly as when the SCAMSTER says it was created then dont go for it.
use a website like or www.register.com or www.whois.com to see the details of who registered the website and when it was created and if it being hosted on a free webserver or a paid one. most SCAMSTERS will create websites on a free webserver. you can google to get a list of free hosting webserver available to the general public
#### 2) Do a company lookup on the internet for this company and what all details u can get about this company. Every state in u.s.a will maintain info about the corporations in the that state and all details about that company including address, when it was registered and against whom it is registered.
Some states like CA give this info for free on their secretary of state website and some give it for a nominal fee. If the company is registered on a apartment address then u know this company if fraud if it is offering u a pre aproved labor.
3) Always ask the company or person to send the original labor to your attorney because if the orignianl labor is present which means the chances are high that it is not a **** case. Most attorneys charge no fee for review of your case if you want to check if the labor suits your experience and qualifications.
