    We've all heard the horror stories of consulting companies which cheat people, dont pay, make false promises, make employees sign bonds.. Im compiling a list of honest tech companies which sponsor H1 and green cards and keep employees happy. Consultants, please add good companies here to this list so it helps future H1bs.

    Where are these companies? I have not even heard of one.

    May be good companies are Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Cognizant and so on. Who we can trust.

      Of course, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Cognizant are the best. I was referring to small consulting companies that sponsor H1b visas. The companies you mentioned are the best for permanent jobs (they may not sponsor H1b visas) while the small consulting companies are good to make a quick buck.

        They sponsor H1B Visa too. May be the best company for Greencard are few, that is what my friend says.

          Yeah.. even if they do sponsor green cards, the process is so badly retrogressed, I doubt anyone from India or China will get their green cards before retirement.

            How US Government are going to solve this issue. This may be very small issue to them but for us it is a big. They should consider and see how to resolve it.

              We do not have voting rights so we cannot influence the congress to issue more green cards and H1b visas. And since the corporations will not get skilled workers via H1bs and green cards, they will continue to move jobs to the countries where there are skilled and highly educated individuals. The companies that do not outsource will eventually shut down. So its best to join the bandwagon (work with companies in developing countries) rather than whine about not getting green cards.
