Hi,
I have a question .In my passport martial status shows as single and I got married 3 yrs back.I didn't the chagned the martial status in passport.It remains as it is. and 3 yrs back my H1b visa had got refused under sec 221g. now my company is planning to apply for b1 visa. last time(3 yrs back) when I had attended for h1b visa interview in d156 form i had filled by martial status as married, that time Visa officer didn't questioned about martial status. now will there be any problem if i fillup the same in d156 as married and my passport shows as single..would this become problem for me .? Could you please suggest do I need to change the martial status as married in passport as well.
