Running payroll

Friends,
My H1B is approved with labour of DE but I am working WA for last 7 months. My employer is running my payroll in DE state only. I am paying state taxes too. Now if I want to run my payroll in WA where NO STATE TAX. Will there be any problems in running my payroll in WA when H1 was approved in DE.

Please respond ASAP.

you always pay tax on the state in which you live and work. not the state from which your H1 was approved. If you work in WA, ask your employer to deduct WA taxes not DE taxes.
