Labour Question

I got my labour approved through perm last August 2006. My employer say he is going to file my I-140, Is the labour would have got expired. Is any time limit before the labour will get expired. Please advice..

you have 180 days from June 2007 for all the old LC approved to file I 140.
For new LC just 180 days after approval.
