ok so i have been a resident for two years and my card expired on jan. 18th 2008. i filed my I-90 form(because that is what the customer service line told me to file) and they took my money and gave me a receipt and appointment for biometrics. when i went to the appointment(jan 14th 2008) they informed me that i needed an I-751 form not the I-90. so i printed the new form and sent them a check, it is taking forever to get the receipt. am i still legal? what can i do to speed this up. should i tell my work about all of this or keep working. i work for an international import export Co. so we have tons of international people. what would you suggest i do??
