My Labor & I-140 has been approved & I'm planning to change my employer. So my question is do I have to start the GC process right from scratch with new employer and how do I retain my priority date & what all info/docs will be required to retain my priority date for filing I-485.

Yes, restart from scratch and have I140 approval copy where PD is listed or copy of labor approval.

The I140 tracking number should be good for the PD. You could also research into obtaining the labor certificate using the FOIA.
Did you not make a copy of the labor approval that you had to sign before filing the I140?

Originally posted by soliYou mean there is no way I can retain my priority date if I do not have the copies of Labor & I140.
And is there any way I can get these docs from USCIS?
