Hi,
I am here in USA from last 3 years and 9 months. I work with firm 'A' which is not
sponsoring green card. There is firm 'B' which is ready to sponsor Green Card for me
and ready to file right away for RIR LC. And claim I will get I485 in next 8-9 months.
And firm 'B' is fine with me working with company 'A'. My questions are:
1.Is this legal for me to get GC getting done from B while I am working for A on H1b?
2.Is it true that , I 485 will be done by another 8-9 months ( Sept 04). The filing will be done
at Chicago center. Company B is located in Texas.
3.Will I have any problems in future from company B? Any potential issues by which company
B can spoil my future either by with holding any of future applications like I-140 or I-485?
4.For some reason , if company B drops my sponsorship in between will I have any issues
with my eixsting H1b of company A?
Another variation is, there is company C, which is ready to sponser but they want me
to join immidiately on their H1b. And I am confident that there will not be any issues from this
company C as I know the company from last many years. But the problem is
I have to leave my existing job, search new job on my own, they file once I get the contract.
and the LC there ( Michigan/Nebraska) taking 12-13 months.
5.Can I get GC sponsered by more than one companies? or is the second application automatically
cancels the first one?
Kindly help in deciding which one to choose from B or C or both.
