  • Anyone in same situation?

I am working in the US in H1B for company A. Company B is willing to sponsor my Green Card and hire me when I get the green card.

Since Green Card is for a future employment I learned that this process is valid and legal. But can anyone suggest if there are any practical problems in this process.

    Anyone went through this process?

    Amit

    Anyone ..

You should be fine. This is legal. H1B and GC are two different things.

    -No legal advise.

          GC: Future employment

Please give an update of your situation. I am in a similar situation. My labor was completed 2 months after I left company A. I am still (nevously) planning on continuing I140 and 485 with company A while working for company B. Company A is willing to do the paper work for me.

          Any advise?

          Thanks!
