My labor certification is received in October 2000 at the Dallas Labor Department. I haven't heard a thing since then. The lawyer said nothing has been communicated to him either. He got inside information that this case has defficiency but since no officer is assigned to the case, he can not find out what the defficiency is and he suggested that I cancle this case and start a new application. Any one in similiar situation, please advise.

No officer assigned?
No officer assigned to your case? I've heard of this one before. It's a nice way to say that the EDD lost your file. In this type of case, it is best to refile. The EDD will never be able to find your case, once they lose it.
Here's a good one that I've seen before, too: "We received your medical exam/application/response on (date). However, it was not placed in your file. Please submit a new medical exam/application/response."
