My L/C for green card was filed in december 2001 in Oregon by company 'A'.
My company 'A' was acquired by North Carolina based company 'B' in March 2002.
But the nature of my job and company's location is not going to change. My comapny's name will change to that of the acquiring company and it will function as wholly owned subsidiary of the NC based company.

Now what happens to my L/C process. Does it continue or Do we need to file new L/C with the new company's name?

Everything with the LC will continue as normal. At the I-140 stage, the new company formed by the merger or buyout must submit additional evidence that explains the situation. That's it! This happened at the best possible time for you in your case.
