Changing designation after labor certification

I have approved labor and ready to apply for I-140/485. And I am interested in transferring to another department within the same company.
Can I change my designation before green card?


Also, would it be ok if I join another company in this situation?

The company has said they will employ you for the position they mentioned on the labor. If you change to a different position, they have to re-do the labor or you go back to the labor position.

Talk to an attorney for more clarity on this issue.

if you change employers before filing I485 and waiting 180 days after that, you have to pretty much begin from labor again.
