Labor expiration

Hello Everyone,

Is there a time limit within which the Labor has to be approved ? My ex-company had a labor approved for me sometimes in July of last year.But , then I got laid off.
They are willing to hire me back. Can they file an I-140 based on that labor or do they have to file a new labor.

I apologize for the typo in my posting above. I meant to ask if there is a time limit within which one has to file I-140 after the labor was approved.
My labor was approved last July but I got laid off and my company is willing to hire me back.Can they use the old labor or they need to file a new one.

As far as I am aware Labor Certifications do not expire. It may still be used for I-140.
