RIR application

My RIR priority date is April,16 2001 in MA. In Oct,2001, it gets back to me and need more info. So my attorney sent them back on time. It were put into DOL system on Dec. 18,2001.
I know now they are processing June, 2001 RIR application in MA. I want to know my RIR application will be processed based on April,16, or Dec. 18 2001. Is anything I can do to solve this situation.

Once your case has been pulled for a query, you will not be able to follow based on filed date. As soon as your attorney responds they put in on another queue ( a Priority queue).

Usually it is 1 to 2 month for processing. If they are fine with it it will get approved in 1 to 2 months. Otherwise they will ask for additional info.

However now I heard that if you company has been in the recent layoff news etc. They are just putting the cases on hold and waiting for directive from the DOL/INS in washington.

My RIR application comes back because of my company lay off issues. We send the response back to defend my case.

Does anyone have any idea that how long the application will take to be approved. It has been more than a year since I filed last April, 2001.

Is anyone in the same situation?
