* I started my gc processin march 2000 in EB2 RIR
currently still in labor cer. (Country India)
I have some questions :
My wife came here on H4 visa..
once she came here, she applied for a H1 visa and
got approved and we also got her Social Sec. Number
also.. but she never worked as we had our baby after
she got H1.. in the meanwhile another company offered
her job and instead of transferring the H1 she already
has , they reapplied for another H1(there seemed to
be a communication gap... because by the time we went
for the second offer.. my wife got her first H1 but
the Social Security Number was just applied.. the second
company's lawyers became restless and applied for a new H1)
* What happens to the the SSN she already got?
Will she have to apply for a new SSN on new H1 from
the new company or she can use the same old SSN
(on which she never worked or earned anything) ?
* Has she lost her H4 status?
(she got her first H1 and SSN but has'nt worked even
a single day... will there be any complications?)
* Is this going to effect my gc process in anyway?
I'd really appreciate your advice and suggestions..
