Labor Processing time spent

I applied for labor Certification in March 1998 under EB3. It may get approved in couple of months. But I am going to loose my job with the current company in Dec. 2000. And my 6 years Visa is expiring in July 2001.

Under the new bill approved in senate, do I have any provision of extending the Visa period for more than 6 years in a new job.
