h1-b Cancelation confusion

Hi,
I am working for a company X. I got an offer from company Y. They filed h1. The h1 applier by the company Y has got approved. But after that i decided not to join Y. So they applied for H1 cancelation. But now i want to join Y. Now waht shoud I do? Do i need to apply the H1 again or can join on the old h1?
