Officially my wifes birth date is 08.21.yyyy. When she renewed her passport long time back they put it as 08.01.yyyy. So when we applied for the H4 visa from Madras US consulate, we wrote 08.01.yyyy.
Now we are trying to get her birth certificate. She got her birth certificate with her orginital date of birth as 08.21.yyyy.
Any one has any idea how do we stand with that since the date of birth on the passport is 08.01.yyyy and the one on the certificate
is 08.01.yyyy and the new H1-B stamped on her paspport also has 08.01.yyyy.
Is there a way to rectify it ? what is the best way to rectifiy it.
