                  Hi Golf,
Thanks! I tried to see and it says as of 3/31/2010 backlog for June. Is that right? I am seeing Nov 2009 approvals.. am I right?

LML- I believe it means, as of end of March 2010, DOL was processing the COL applications made in June 2009 and after (including November cases although very rare I suspect). Good luck.

For PD dates in Oct that have not been approved yet, when should one begin to be concerned?

SJG- The average processing time was around 10 months up until February 2010. Yet DOL seems to have gained momentum since then and the processing time is now between 5 and 8 months. I think you should hear back any time between today and June 30. Beyond June, I would be concerned.

                        • PD Oct 15 2009

SJG - even my PD is same, 3 of my friends, 2 with PD in Sep 2009 and one with 16 Oct 2009 have got the approval, I don't know what's happening for Oct 15.

Even I'm right now a bit worried.

                          • labor denial

My labor was applied on April 2009 in EB2 category.
Although have an experience of 10 years plus graduate degree,
I received my labor denial because of qualification in March 2010.

My company files the appeal as lawyer believes it is a mistake.
                            1) Can somebody advise me what should I do? Changing the company will beneficial?
                            2) How long usually it takes and where to follow my case?

                            Thanks,
                            kooka

My PD was denied on May2009 due to lack of documents requested by DOL after two years of waiting. I determined to find out the true reason of denial myself so I met three local attornies for consultations.
what I was told from all three lawyers was
                              1. my previous lawer didn't provide the paperwork requested by DOL
                              2. it is so much quicker to start the whole process again rather than filing the appeal
                              hope this helps.

                              • Does anyone have any stats on the PERM success rates?

                                i.e.

                                % of applications approved
                                % of applications audited
                                % of applications denied
