My company attorney filed my PERM process on Jan 2009 and today they said it will take 6 months. They are processing in Atlanta, but i am working in California. Somebody says it's automated process, which will take 45 days. Is there any issues with GC process now, because of the economy and new policy to scrutinize h1 guys in US.
I got approval on 7 months. Applied end of August, 2008 got approval end of MArch, 2009 from Atlanta processing center. Seems like 7 months
Filed my PERM in July 2008 and still waiting on it. lawyer says that the timeline is variable and it can take anywhere from 7-11 months to get PERM approval. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Hey your post has kept me going during this seeming long period of wait. My EB3 was filed in first week of October 2008 and I got certification today on May 1st. What a relief. Good luck to every one else!!
Is there any way to track the progress of PERM filing in Atlanta?
Filed for PERM on Nov 2007, got an audit and employer responded to audit mid Jan 2008. Is there any way to track the progress? Lawer sent couple of status request, and no response from Atlanta Labor depatment. Is this sort of delay usual?
Are there still backlog cases? Did they not close the backlog centers?
I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.
