did my BE in India. Have 10 yrs total work exp. Been in US on H1 for the last 4yrs. Switched my job recently and my new employer is now filing for GC. Per my attorney, due to the type of work that I was into with my previous emploter, it is better if I file my GC on EB3 rather than on EB2, though I qualify for that. Specially in today's economic scenario.
Any suggestions.

What you qualify for does not matter. What the job requires is the one that determines an EB2 or EB3 filing.
