LC/Changing Employers

Hi Guys,

I have my LC and 140 approved through my current employer. My company isn't doing well and looks like the choices for me are to move to a new job or wait for a layoff. I am in my 6th year of H1b and I need to apply for extension next year. My question is if I get a new job and move to a new company,for the 7th year extension, can I use my current LC through my current employer for the extension? Please respond.

Hi Thanks for the quick response. One last question, Considering the situation below, if I cant meet the 1 year on LC criteria with my new company, is there any other way, I can still file my extension?
